San Francisco Black Film Festival 2008

A record label discovers a talented young lyricist named Nate Harris and offers to make him a star, as a rapper. They create Nemesis, a Hip Hop gangster designed to sell records and spit hate. Fame quickly follows. To increase his celebrity, Nate’s label sets up publicity stunts and feuds with rival rappers. The feuds escalate into wars and the fictional gangster Nemesis becomes a real life target of both fans and fellow rappers. Ultimately he has a choice; Either give Hip Hop what it wants, a war between two rap rivals, or destroy his real rival, Nemesis, and become himself.
